Today I will read part 8 of My Father's Dragon. In the last part, my father met a lion. He gave the lion a hairbrush. The lion ate the berries. What animal will my father see now? Let's listen to the story.
Today we will learn 3 words. Gorilla. A gorilla is like a very big monkey. Itch. An itch is a funny feeling on your body. Bugs. Bugs are little things that fly and they like to bite you. Listen for the words in the story. Gorilla. Itch. Bugs.
Let's begin.
Part 8.
My Father Meets a Gorilla
My father looked for the dragon. Where was the dragon? Then he saw the two pigs again. My father hid behind a tree. One pig said, "The rhino is brushing his horn. Who gave the rhino a toothbrush?" The other pig said, "I don't see anyone." Then the pigs walked away. Then my father heard a noise. He saw a big gorilla. The gorilla was big and scary. The big gorilla saw my father. Then the gorilla said, "What are you doing? This is my jungle. You can't walk in my jungle." Then the gorilla shouted out. "Ow!" The gorilla had an itch on his arm. The gorilla said, "Monkeys, help me! I have an itch! Help me find the bugs." Then monkeys came out of the trees. The monkeys jumped down. They looked in the gorilla's hair. The monkeys said, "We can't find the bugs!" My father said, "I can help you." My father opened his backpack. He took out some glasses. He gave the glasses to the monkeys. Then the monkeys saw the bugs. The monkeys took the bugs off of the gorilla. Then the gorilla didn't have an itch. The gorilla said to my father, "Thank you for helping me!"
That's the end of part 8. This story has 10 parts. I’m Katrina. My show comes out Tuesday and Friday morning New York time. Please like and subscribe. Thank you for listening. Goodbye until next time.
